About
Born on the ward,
built for the ward
SERANA grew out of frontline experience. Nurses needed better tools — not more paperwork. We built an AI that reduces preventable harm and gives clinicians back their most valuable resource: time with patients.
A UK health technology company
SERANA is a health technology company developing secure, reliable and explainable AI tools to support nurses, reduce medication errors and enhance the quality of care across the NHS.
The company's identity is built around a clear principle: healthcare AI must support human professionals, not replace them. Every tool SERANA creates is designed to be transparent, clinically grounded and safe for deployment in real ward environments.
SERANA actively involves patients, carers and public contributors throughout its development, ensuring that the people healthcare serves have a voice in how technology is designed and deployed.

Nurses Agenda
Future Health Solutions
Nursing the nation. Nursing the world. One human family, one profession, one shared future with AI. The Nurses Agenda platform connects nurses, patients, families, developers and policymakers across the UK and Kenya to shape the future of care.
Built around three shifts — from cure to care, from hospital to home, and from paper to AI — the platform empowers nurses to lead change, mentor the next generation through the International Junior Nurse Fellowship, and deliver care at home powered by SERANA.
